NMM Graphical - NMM Model |
|
NMM Model Schema as graphical output
A numerical model uses a codebase and one or more of its components,
chooses and then sets the various options required by the model, runs
the model using those settings and produces data. The NMM Model defines
the settings chosen from those available in NMM Codebase and used to
produce the data output. It DOES NOT define the data. That definition
is done through data standards such as CF.
The NMM Model has a unique ID, an information layer, similar to the
NMM Codebase schema which defines whether it is an
simulation, or a project (allowing grouping of simulations), a name,
description, history and then settings for each component.
